Good day. Yesterday went up the canyon with friends, including coach's daughter and she was supposed to be home at 9:30 but we didn't have service and we came down at 11:00 and her dad had called the cops so last night cops crashed out party, lol.  Woke up at 6:35 got to the race, watched a bunch of races.  Then it started raining, and was windy.  Waited forever, then finally warmed up on the indoor track, then got ready.

Got to the start line, started out awful, but took advantage by going straight to the inside lane.  Then moved up from there, lol, was in the very back and came through in mid 63 first lap.  Then got up to Will Handley and stuck with him til 200 left, then started making a move on him, but my legs were too cold and tight so I fell back as he kept going with the move I tried to make.  Then Colter passed me, but I passed Dallin at the very end.  Got 4th, 4:20.  So not disappointed.

Short cool down, then rested for like just under an hour.  Then warmed up for the 2 mile, super sluggish warm up, was just gonna kind of go run the 2 mile but not really.  Got to the start line and got off.  Just stuck behind Jamison and Galen  who stuck behind the rest of the pack.  Then the pack stretched out a bit at 1200 in, so I passed up to 5th, and whenever someone was dropping off from the leader I would pass them.  Then just followed Joe Benson, and Talon Hull til 300 left.  Then Joe made a move, I matched and surged past him.  200 left I charged.  Then 100 left I was going but Joe caught me and we were side by side for the last hundred. Made a quarter of a second mistake of "feeling tired" and acting on it and slowed for a tiny bit.  Joe got me by .07 seconds, costing me the win, the watch, and the shirt.  Bummer, but oh well.  Got a PR when I wasn't really ready  to.  And closed in a 60.4 according to Mr. Molen.

Super Shout out time to multiple people: Mr. Molen, for letting us play basketball when we got back, Craik and Valerie, for giving us Cafe Rio for Valerie's homecoming.  Shout out to Brooks for the sick sunglasses. Shout out to Watson cuz she killed her 2 mile and cuz I met her for a second time.  And Shout out to the stellar Kelly for beating my bro at ping pong. And shout out to the fellow bloggers who I saw racing!
