Today we went up the hill work out hill and then instead of heading toward 5 mile loop we went right and did some trail that led to mountain run.  Then after that we went and did the Timberline loop to get us up to 7 miles.

Today we did Middle Spring.  It was good but yesterday I went over and played tennis and that made my shins hurt a lot.  So instead of going the full 8 miles I turned back a little bit early cuz my shins were not doing well.  We had strength training today and did some dips, push-ups, squats, and sit-ups.

Today was a bunch of separate runs combined.  It was fun.  It was a nice slower pace which was nice so my shins could recover a little bit. Tomorrow we have hill work out so I'm excited for that. Should be a good time.

Today we had our first workout of the year.  We had a hill workout.  It was a lot of fun.  It is 666 meters.  The first one I did was 2:35 and I thought that I was going to die because it felt so hard.  Then next one I ran 2:30. It felt a lot easier because I had finally gotten fully warmed up.  Then the next one I ran 2:28.  Then the last one I ran a 2:26.  It was a lot of fun.  Hill workouts are my favorite work out.

At about 2:20 pm I went on a bike ride.  It was just 10 miles because I felt a few rain drops so I headed back because I had my phone in my pocket.

Today we did part of Hogs and then turned instead of going up hogs.  My shin was hurting at the end so that was bad.  A bunch of mom's made breakfast for us afterwords which was nice.  It was pancakes, bacon, cantalope, watermelon, chocolate milk, and orange juice.  It was good. Tomorrow we have an 11 mile run so that should be intense.

Today was a good time.  We did Hogs Hollow.  We started at Legacy Park and then went up to hogs and ran a little bit of it.  At 2.6ish miles we stopped and gathered everyone.  Then we did a 2 mile tempo, all uphill.  I had no idea how far the two miles were cuz I didn't have a gps watch with me so I was just running hard for a long time but then I thought we should be about 1.5 miles done and then Jamison called out 1 mile. So I knew I had a lot longer but then the next mile went by quick and I thought I still had a lot farther and Jamison stopped at 2 miles.  It was hard but felt good to get some speed in.  Then we finished off Hogs Hollow and went to sliding rock. Then we headed back and got a total of 11 miles.

Shout out to Jamison for beating me on the hill tempo. 

In the afternoon I went on a 19 mile bike ride.  It felt good and I was going pretty fast.
