2 mile warmup, 3k race, 10 miles after.

Felt good in the race, I honestly was really scared about my back hurting so I didn't go with the leaders. We opened in 66, then 64, then I went 69, without realizing how slow it was. came through the mile in 4:29, then realized that my back wasn't hurting, and that I felt pretty good. Started picking it up from there and the 3rd place guy started dropping off so I was able to catch him at the end. Happy about the race because my back didnt hurt and I could breath. I think that's a sign of good things to come. Plan going forward is to start putting in some more mileage by going 3-4 in the morning and then 8ish in the afternoon. I think I just lack some mileage and base to be able to put together a few great races during outdoor track.

Possibly yes, I'll find out if I'm racing at conference or not (it's this weekend).

well good luck if you end up racing! i know you'll have a great outdoor season too but i'm super excited to see the times you run sophomore year. with that summer base under your belt i'm sure you'll be on a rampage.
