Drove down with Steven, Kaleb, Spencer Smith and Josh.  Got our wristbands and headed in.  Not physically or mentally prepared to race well but came for a fun time.  Last night I stayed up and messed around then ate lots this morning but didn't drink much, and we haven't done any speed.  So warmed up for a couple miles really early with those guys and then realized we warmed up like an hour too early.  Then warmed up again with Galen a bit before our race, I was in the 2nd to fastest heat but some other kids put their PR's instead of what they thought they could run so they all went in the fast heat.  Gun went off and got out well,  first lap didn't pay attention to the time but was in like 4th or 5th.  Then second lap I felt like we were going a bit slow so I took the lead and tried to put a bit of a gap but idk if I did.  Stayed like that til last lap when Patrick Parker passed me and kicked it in hard.  Got 2nd in my heat though, 10th overall.  Not super stoked but not disappointed considering how I should have raced.  It didn't feel that hard.  Afterwards, cool down  then went to Einstein Bagels, then went to Krispy Creme with Steven, Kaleb, Spencer, Josh, and Justin.  Good time.

Afternoon, some dank snow shoeing, nothing much but still a good time.

Night- 3.8 miles in the night, 6:50 avg. pace.  Felt kind of tired though.
